

Claude MonetThe visual artist I chose is Claude Monet. He was born in Paris, France in the year 1840 and was 86 years old when he died. Monet was a painter and the founder of an artistic movement called Impressionism. Many of Monet's paintings are pictures of water. Some of his favorite subjects included boats, oceans, ponds, lakes, and he occasionally painted scenes of everyday life.Claude Monet
Monet fixed up a boat as a floating studio. He kept paints, brushes, canvas, and drawing supplies on it, so that he could take a trip up the river whenever he wanted to paint.
Monet had a good sense of humor, so when he was younger he used to draw
